Disney Believe Cruise Ship At Port Everglades

FORT LAUDERDALE, October 12 — Disney Cruise Line announced details about its newest ship, Disney Believe, during a livestream on Wednesday. The ship is the fourth Wish-class vessel in the fleet and will sail from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Its maiden voyage is scheduled for December 18, 2027, and it will offer four- and five-night sailings to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, with stops at Disney’s private islands—Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

The ship’s Grand Hall will be inspired by the animated film ‘Moana,’ featuring a bronze statue of Moana, ocean-hued carpet, a chandelier modeled after ‘the sea’s fluid movement,’ and railings inspired by the patterns of Moana’s skirt. Exclusive to Disney Believe will be the first-ever stage adaptation of ‘Encanto,’ revealed by Lin-Manuel Miranda in a video message.

The ship will also include a reimagined version of the ‘Tangled’ musical with new sets and special effects, and a new ‘Frozen’-inspired dinner show titled ‘Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast,’ featuring reimagined renditions of ‘Frozen’ tunes and appearances by characters such as Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff. Additional dining venues include 1923 and Worlds of Marvel, part of the rotational dining on other Wish-class ships.

The Wishing Well lounge will be inspired by ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,’ with stained-glass art, a canopy of white blossoms and red apples, and a performance area inspired by the seven dwarfs’ cottage. Gazelle, a multi-story entertainment hub inspired by ‘Zootopia,’ will offer family-friendly activities by day and adults-only entertainment in the evening, with opportunities to meet Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.

Near the Grand Hall, Sea Notes will be a piano lounge inspired by ‘The Little Mermaid.’ Skygazers will be an observatory-themed pub with astronomical instruments and celestial maps, serving craft beers, specialty cocktails, and small bites. The Oceaneer Club will be themed to Pixar’s ‘Monsters, Inc.’ and feature a figure of Mike Wazowski with a laugh cannister. For guests with a sweet tooth, Inside Out: Joyful Sweets will offer 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream.

Two cafes will be featured: Cafe Kakamora, inspired by ‘Moana,’ and Big Hero Sips, inspired by ‘Big Hero 6.’ Staterooms will be inspired by characters and stories from films such as ‘Moana,’ ‘Inside Out,’ and ‘Coco.’ Concierge-level rooms will be inspired by ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘Toy Story.’ The ship will feature two new royal suites: the Royal Rose Suite, inspired by ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ and the Royal Reef Suite, inspired by ‘The Little Mermaid.’ The two-story Believe Tower Suite, exclusive to the ship, will take inspiration from Magic Kingdom, sleep eight, and feature rooms modeled after different lands at the park.

Returning offerings include the adults-only Haunted Mansion Parlor, AquaMouse water ride (featuring an animated short with Mickey and Minnie Mouse), Quiet Cove, Senses Spa, and premium dining options Palo Steakhouse, Enchante, and The Rose. Disney announced that bookings for Disney Believe will open on October 19, more than a year before the ship’s debut.
