Jennifer Garner recalls 6-week European trip while ex Ben Affleck shot Batman movie

Jennifer Garner is reminiscing about a 6-week European trip she took with her kids while her ex-husband Ben Affleck was filming a Batman movie in London. The trip, which Garner describes as “wonderful” and “incredible,” was a family adventure that included visits to Venice and Paris, and allowed her to spend quality time with her children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, who were taken out of school for the occasion.

Background And History

Garner and Affleck were married in June 2005 and had their three children before announcing their split a decade later. During their marriage, Affleck played the role of Batman in movies including 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The European trip was a memorable experience for Garner, who has fond memories of exploring the City of Light with her kids. She recalls taking a boat ride down the Seine, a recommendation made by Food Network star Ina Garten, and has repeated the experience on subsequent visits to Paris.

Co-Parenting And Family Logistics

Despite their split, Garner and Affleck have managed to maintain a good relationship, with Affleck recently stating that they have a great co-parenting dynamic. Garner has also spoken about the importance of spending quality time with her children, and the European trip seems to have been a highlight of their family time together. The trip allowed them to explore new cities and experience different cultures, with Garner noting that it was a special adventure that created lasting memories for her and her kids.

Current Projects And Advocacy Work

In addition to her acting career, Garner is also an advocate for early childhood education and serves on the board of Save the Children USA. She has also been involved in various other projects, including her own Pretend Cooking Show on social media and her work as the co-founder and chief brand officer of Once Upon a Farm, an organic baby food company. Garner’s current projects include starring in the upcoming Netflix action-comedy One Attempt Remaining and the holiday comedy Mrs. Claus, produced in collaboration with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine.

As Garner looks back on her European trip, it’s clear that the experience had a lasting impact on her and her children, and she continues to prioritize family time and create new memories with her kids. “Every picture from that night, from that trip, the smile on my kids’ faces — it was such an adventure,” she said, reflecting on the trip’s significance.
