Disney+ September 2026 Lineup Led by Star Wars and Chad Powers

LOS ANGELES, September 24 — The story begins with a fallen Empire and a scattered enemy. On September 22, 2026, Explore Disney+ published a contributor guide to the streaming lineup arriving on Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN in September 2026, headlined by the Lucasfilm film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, which releases on Disney+ on September 2, 2026. At its heart, the film returns to familiar ground.

As the guide describes the premise, the evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, it enlists the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and his young apprentice Grogu.

The guide instructs readers to add the title to their Watchlist.

A Superstar With a Secret

Also in the lineup is the Hulu series Chad Powers, whose season premiere is September 3, 2026. Per the guide, Chad Powers is a superstar on the field, but his odd behavior off it has everyone suspicious, especially Coach Hudson and Gerry. The walls are closing in on Russ’s lie, and if he and Danny want Chad to survive the regular season and lead the Catfish to the College Football Playoff, the only person who can help them is the last person who wants to: Ricky.

Readers are directed to add the show to a Watchlist, login required, or learn more on Hulu.com. FX’s The Drop: A Snowfall Saga, a new show on Hulu, releases new episodes on September 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2026.

It follows Snowfall characters Wanda Bell, played by Gail Bean, and Leon Simmons, played by Isaiah John, as they fight to reinvent themselves in 1990s Los Angeles, where the fallout from the crack epidemic is fueling a new game: the rise of West Coast rap. The guide again points readers to a Watchlist, login required, or Hulu.com. The month’s film additions to Hulu, all dated September 1, 2026, are led by Amsterdam, described as an original crime epic from acclaimed filmmaker David O.
